The project starts from Wucaiwan Converter Station in Zhundong, Xinjiang Autonomous Region and ends at Wannan Converter Station in Anhui Province. The aviation straight-line length is 3337 kilometers and the transmission capacity is 12000MW. The project has set a new height in the world's power grid technology. It is the world's first ± 1100kV UHV transmission DC line with high voltage level, high capacity, and long distance. In order to promote domestic interconnection, intercontinental interconnection, intercontinental interconnection, and build a global energy Internet, it has opened a new era in the development of UHV transmission technology.
